Status and search intent

FLUX 3 Video access is rolling out in stages

FLUX 3 is a Black Forest Labs multimodal generation family. The official announcement describes FLUX 3 Video Early Access separately from later API, private-weight, image-model, and Dev open-weight releases.

This canonical guide answers release, API, open-source, GitHub, Hugging Face, download, local, and ComfyUI questions together rather than creating near-identical landing pages.

FLUX.1 and FLUX.2 are image-generation families. A “FLUX.1 video” workflow normally means generating a still with FLUX and animating it with a separately identified video model.

Rollout status

What is available, planned, and still unconfirmed

Every item below is tracked independently. Early Access, public API listing, downloadable weights, license terms, and availability on this site are not interchangeable.

FLUX 3 Video Early Access

Officially announced by BFL with native audio, multiple input modes, continuation, keyframes, multilingual dialogue, multi-shot control, and up to 20-second generation.

Public API and private weights

BFL says API access and private weights will roll out. As of this review, the public API documentation does not establish a generally available FLUX 3 Video endpoint.

FLUX 3 Dev open weights

BFL has announced upcoming open weights. Public model files, the exact license, commercial terms, and system requirements remain release-dependent.

GitHub and Hugging Face status

No public FLUX 3 Video or FLUX 3 Dev repository is treated as confirmed until BFL links it from a primary source. Avoid unofficial mirrors and similarly named uploads.

Verification method

How this page separates official facts from platform access

  1. 1

    Find the primary source

Start with Black Forest Labs announcements, API documentation, and repositories they link directly.

  2. 2

    Check the actual selected model

Confirm that the provider model shown in the generator matches the claimed workflow. A display name alone is not integration evidence.

  3. 3

    Update one canonical guide

Add confirmed links and requirements here without creating duplicate pages for every keyword variation.

Popular questions

FLUX 3 Video release and access FAQ

Is FLUX 3 open source?

Not as a blanket claim. BFL says FLUX 3 Dev open weights are planned, but code availability, downloadable files, license rights, and commercial use must be checked separately when released.

Where is the official FLUX 3 GitHub or Hugging Face repository?

Use only a repository linked by Black Forest Labs. As of July 30, 2026, this guide does not treat a public FLUX 3 Video or FLUX 3 Dev model repository as confirmed.

Can I download FLUX 3 Video or FLUX 3 Dev?

No public files are marked downloadable here yet. Wait for BFL-linked weights, model cards, file formats, access conditions, and license terms.

Can FLUX 3 run locally or in ComfyUI?

Not from a verified public release at this review. Local or ComfyUI use requires official weights, inference code, dependencies, license terms, and hardware guidance.

Does FLUX 3 Video generate audio and accept multiple input types?

BFL says the Early Access model has native audio and supports text-to-video, image-to-video, video-to-video, continuation, keyframes, multilingual dialogue, and multi-shot generation.

Is Flux3Video.art an official Black Forest Labs website?

No. Flux3Video.art is an independent AI video workspace and rollout guide. Official FLUX capabilities and access are defined by Black Forest Labs.

Independent service, verified primary sources

Flux3Video.art is not operated by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Black Forest Labs. FLUX names and trademarks belong to their owner. A platform plan or free queue does not establish BFL API or open-weight access.
